A History of World Arts and Crafts

In 2009, my monograph A History of World Arts and Crafts was published by Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Publishing House. The publication statement emphasizes, “This book is the result of the author's nearly thirty years of collecting, organizing, and researching materials. It is written based on several previously published histories of arts and crafts, and, after nearly a decade of travels around the world, it has taken its final form... It should be noted that this is the first truly comprehensive monograph on the history of world arts and crafts published in China so far.” The book comprises approximately 500,000 words, over six hundred accompanying illustrations, and was nominated for the 2009 Art China Annual Art Publication.
