The Wonderfulness on the Golf Course in the Brushwork
As an artist, Hudson Shaoxia Zhang has envisioned more than once that he swings the club on his own golf course and takes on the challenges of every fairway and green. As early as 35 years ago, Hudson Shaoxia Zhang invested a large sum of money in Hainan and purchased a piece of land large enough to build an 18-hole golf course. Later, he hired a renowned American golf course designer, used a great deal of mechanical equipment, and within just a few months, the beautiful layout of the course was completed. It seemed that a golf course named "Caesar International Golf Club" was about to emerge on this hot land of Hainan. However, the dilemmas of various policies were like an invisible wall, lying between the dream and the reality. The golf course turned into nothingness, leaving behind only bitterness. Fortunately, as a senior artist and a golf enthusiast, Hudson Shaoxia Zhang has traveled all over the world in the past 30-odd years. With his paintbrush, he has left behind countless golf courses and has become the veritable "First Person in Oil Paintings of Golf Course Scenery". Perhaps life is like this: there are always some dreams that cannot be realized, but the process of chasing dreams in itself has created another kind of wonderfulness.
